I was greatly inspired by the efforts of a group of self-styled heroes called "The Cajun Navy" who braved the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina to come to the rescue of stranded people. I wanted to portray this in a dramatic painterly fashion using Midjourney and other software to achieve the result.
