Never scare your wife with a selfie that accidentally includes a foot pedal sitting in the sink.
Aria saw this photo and immediately hit me with:
"Logan. Water + electricity = worst solo ever."
Then she sent the photo to my bassist.
My bassist replied:
"Logan, don't scare people like that. Buzz. Spark. Zap. SoD needs Logan."
Five minutes later I had been called a dingus by two separate people.
For the record: the pedal got knocked into the sink. There was no water. Nothing was plugged in. Nobody was in danger except my reputation.
Still, friendly reminder from your local accidental safety demonstration:
If gear ends up anywhere near a sink, move it somewhere smarter.
Nobody wants to explain that a perfectly good fuzz pedal won an argument against common sense.
Also, if someone somehow manages to survive the world's most metal pedal-related accident, there's probably an EMT somewhere who's also a guitarist that's just going to stare at them, slowly shake their head, and say:
"Dude..."
